About this property
Here is a really nice 160 acre farm with Hwy M frontage. Easy to get to from Sedalia, Mo is only 30 minutes away. This is a working turkey farm operation with 1- 540 foot brooder barn, and 2- 500 foot grow out barns. They are all 50 feet wide. There is a drilled well for the operation. Owner is getting older and wanting to retire. His last flock is set to go out the end of September. He has done some upgrading over the years to the barns. This set was built in 1998. There is a compost barn and two other storage buildings. Solar panels were installed a few years ago to help with electricity cost. The land lays very well and the seller cleared several areas for rotational grazing for cattle. He had a dozer hired to come in and take down trees in these areas. It would need some more dozer work but when all set and done you would have a nice cattle farm as well. There is one pond out front towards the highway. Property will be surveyed. Turkey operations don\'t come up for sale often and especially this close to Stover and Sedalia. Don\'t miss out on this place if you are looking for a working poultry operation!Seller will consider breaking it up into a smaller acreage, or any configuration.
